Underground Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania - Columbia was often the first town east of the Susquehanna and north of the Mason-Dixon that enslaved people arrived at to find their freedom. Not open yet.
Wright's Ferry Mansion - Columbia used to be called Wright's Ferry as there was a ferry going back and forth from Wrightsville. Chances are some of our Founding Fathers crossed the Susquehanna here fleeing the British in Philadephia.
